MAC Glitter & Ice Holiday Collection 2011

The MAC Glitter & Ice collection is one of the ultimate whimsical collections. Super glittery, pearly, and frosty. Its very winter wonderland'ish. Everything with the exception of a few of the dazzle glasses are limited edition. The line is set to release October 27th. So here are the pictures and mini reviews!

Beauty Powder $24.00: How Beautiful, Snow Globe
These are meant to be used as and allover color but are better used as a highlight do to the frostiness. "How Beautiful" compliments all skin tones but "Snow Globe" may only look good on very light skin tones because it can look somewhat ashy.

Mineral Eyeshadow $21.00: Fresh Ice, Hold That Pose, Winterized, Shimmermint, Frozen Blue, Snow Season
These are questionaable only because of how they go on. They all have a metallic finish but none are true to color. The only bad thing is they do have fallout but i just love the metallic look.

Technakohl Liner $16.00: Fancy Moves, Practice Makes Perfect, Silver Skates,
Seasonally Spicy, Going For Gold, Smooth Manoeuvre
These are not the best eyeliners. Although they are kohl liners they dont go on very smooth or dark. I just dont recommend these. But if you must buy one go for "Practice Makes Perfect" just because that teal color is in season.

Paint Pot $18.50: For Effect, Morning Frost, Let's Skate
These are great basis. Very shimmery. Especially good to highlight the brow bone and inner corner. And the
 product last forever..

Lipstick $15.50: Such Flare, What Joy!, Double Spin, Whirls & Twirls, Eloquent Air, Soft Sable
I just love MAC lipsticks so i have nothing bad to say except go for "such flare". nothing pops more than a matte red!

Dazzle Glass $19.50: Love Alert, She-Zam, Pleasure Principle, Dressed to Dazzle, Glitter & Ice, Spanking Rich
Simply put a super glittery gloss that stays on longer than most!

Nail Lacquer $16.00: Get Noticed, Unconditionally Fabulous, Festive Finery
These formulas are better than usual. "Unconditionally Fabulous" isnt worth buying for the simple fact that
its just an iridescent glitter clear coat which ca be purchased from a less expensive brand.

Just A Quickie

Just wanted to share this optical illusion with you all. I found it pretty cool. What do you see ? :]

Mad over Matte

Today's post is a product review on... NYX soft matte lip creams! Matte lips are one of the hottest trends of the year. And luckily NYX has provided us with a great value. They are a cream gloss texture and come with a doe foot applicator. They come in 11 different colors in the nude, pink, and red color family. They go on very smooth and dry matte. My only complaint is that the brighter colors do need more application time to avoid streaks. They do feel dry on your lips but you just need to make sure to apply chap stick before hand. They smell is nice similar to a MAC lipstick with a super light coffee scent. As far as how long they last... average. The less you apply the longer it last. Sorry ladies, it wont last through kisses or meals. Overall the effect it gives and price make it worth owning one in every color with back ups :-)

Product: NYX soft matte lip creams. Available at Ulta and www.nyxcosmetics.com $5.99
