Fall Trend #1: Fur

The fur trend from last fall and winter is being carried into this season but this time its all over the place! Clothes, shoes, purses, and even jewelry. Now just because its everywhere it doesnt mean you have to wear it all at the same time. The key is placement and proportion. You may be able to get away with wearing more when its a survival technique in the middle of a blizzard not the to die for coat with matching fur on the boots, purse, hat, and undies in 96℉ weather lol. Also remember to wear the fur and not let it over power you unless youre going for the sasquatch look. My last tip for fur is go faux! Not only do innocent animals get to keep their skin, its also cheaper, and you wont feel as bad if it gets ruined :D

DIY: Cucumber Moisturizing Mask

Besides being a delicious and healthy snack, cucumbers can be great for your skin. The benefit of this home made mask is that you can make it anytime you want and because you know every ingredient in it its safe for sensitive skin. It cleans out your pores, soothes skin, and helps protect your skin from the enviroment. So heres the quick recipe wich makes enough for one mask :D

Ingredients:
1/3 peeled cucumber (sliced and with seeds removed)
1 raw egg yolk
2 tablespoons ground almonds
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons ground rolled oats

Blend all the ingredients in a blender or food processor for 30-60 seconds. Use immediatly or after 30 minutes maximum of refrigeration. Spread thickly onto dry skin avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off with warm water. And your done!

Quick post from my car :)

One of my favorite things in the world is coconut. I love the smell, taste, and the memories that come with it. Whether its of me and my family in Mexico drinking the water straight from alkkjh. coconut just off a tree. Or a yummy slice of coconut cream cake from the famous "Pinks" hotdogs in Hollywood where my mom worked as a young woman. And even the coconut smell of tanning oil when sun bathing at lake Michigan. The point is I LOVE COCONUT! lol

So getting to the post. Now coconut is the hottest new trend in FASHION, lol jk in beauty. Coconut oil is great for the exterior of your body. Its great for the hair so its being included in many shampoos, treatments, and serums. It is also great as a moisturizer for skin. And for internal use coconut water is great. Its better than sports drinks after a workout because its natural, rehydrates fast, and replaces electrolytes faster. It also has several vitamins, magnesium, potassium, and calcium to help your body be its best inside and out.

I hope you all found this quick post helpful. I was feeling guilty because i keep promising a new post and i keep failing lol. I still dont have reliable internet to upload full post so there might be more frequent quick post. So have a good day Glam Geeks ;D
