Here is my millionth apology
Unfortunately my blog has yet to hit it big. And until then i have to have a more realistic thing called a job. Im very grateful to have a job but working 50 hours a week leaves no room for blogging. I will however now have a regular schedule. And with that schedule comes more blogging opportunities. so look forward to make up reviews, fave 5, fall outfits, and first a DIY. Its gonna be a DIY lip palette for under $5! so hope you all come back for that :)

Fall out of summer Love and into Autumn
Were only two weeks away from September which means fall is approaching and with it school. There is one good thing about school... back to school shopping! So i thought i would compile my top 5 items every girl should have in her fall wardrobe. I personally have multiples of these items just because they make life easier, comfier, and super chic. So here are my top 5 fall fashion picks.

| #5: Men's Denim Shirt. I love denim shirts. They are the cherry on top to practically any outfit. They're great over any of your summer attire to make it autumn approved. You can throw it over you favorite summer dress, under a jumper, over a tshirt and leggings, the possibilities are endless. I do also prefer the men's denim shirts because they're less fitted so they give a more cozy look ad if you want it to show your figure off you can always add a belt. Men's Levi Western Shirt $68 at www.levi.com |
So these were a few of my favorite autumn wardrobe pieces. And to top it off my favorite fall colors are burgundy, tan, navy, forest green and for pops of color turquoise and coral!

Hair Resurrection
This past year I have damage my hair way too much. I went from black, to blonde, to brown, to light brown, to ombre, and to my most recent color red. Sometime the color changes were ever 2 weeks. It got to the point that my ends felt like a metal fiber sponge. I couldn't take it anymore. I knew that after all the heat, product, and chemicals i put to my hair it was time to let it go. So todays post is basically a guide to what i used to make sure my hair didnt fall out during all its suffering and what im using and doing to its now.
Step 1: If you are constantly changing you hair color, that is going to be one of the major factors in you hair being damaged. So I recommend using a deep conditioner like Aussie's "3 minute miracle" eerytime you wash your hair. I also recommend using a more expensive repair masque like the ones by Macadamia Natural Oil or Fekkai.
Step 2: You want do things that will help you maintain its color so you have to touch up less frequently. This means washing your hair less, pretreating, air drying, and using protectants. Many people are use to washing their hair on a dailyy basis but only doing it every other day is better. You lose less of your natural oils and wash out less of your color. So for the in between day try using a dry shampoo. I have no preference but tend to use the one by Victoria Secret because i tend to buy it whenever i go there but drug store ones work just as well. You can even use baby powder. I do suggest getting one that smells nice :). The second thing you can do to maintain youre color or hair health is to use a protectant. Use one before applying any heat to the hair. That includes straighteners, curlers, hot rollers, and even a blow dryer. The final tip for protecting you hair is using a spray or serum to help with UV rays. This will help preserve your color and hairs health.
Step 3: Use your head before you do anything to it! Your hair and scalp are sensitive. So stop and seriously think about what you are going to do to your hair before you do it. There have been too many times a "great idea" turned into a hair crisis!
And in case your wonder what shampoo i use here it is... Its BOGO free at Walgreens until August 25th!
At the end of the day my hair is about 5 inches shorter but i learned my lesson. So i hope you can all take from my mistakes and if its too late, well i hope this post helps with your hair resurecction :)

Product Review: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation
It has been a busy month for me so i havent been able to post as frequently. But during my busy month i of course had time to shop for several new beauty products. Today we will be reviewing the new talk of the beauty world... Revlon's Colorstay Whipped Foundation!
Product: Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation
Price: $12-$15
Availability: Available At Most Drugstores
Pros: Medium to Full coverage, feels light weight, blends easily, not messy, matte finish.
Cons: Limited shade range, price is high for drugstore foundation, looks streaky if applied with a sponge or brush.
Overall Opinion: I really like this foundation. It last longer than others and goes on easily. It is also less heavy than the original colorstay. The consistency is a mousse like the loreal mousse foundation but more like whipped cream. A little bit of the product goes a long way. I also feel like it allows the rest of your makup to last longer. I also like the way it feels to the touch. Your skin still feels soft even with it on. So do i recommend it?...YES :)
