Theme Thursdays: Animals of the Night

I know its being uploaded a couple hours late (unless you in pacific time). Yet as i always say, better late than never. Todays the is animals of the night inspired by my new wallet because its soooo cute. Well here it is... ♥
This shirt is super cute. it can be picked up at
www.hottopic.com and in store for $22.

This ring is in style not just because it an owl but
because it also a knuckle ring. Looks very cute
and very bad ass. It is sold at DEB for $10.99

From close it may not be visible but this is
a very chic "cat print dress". Its a quirky outfit yet
has a touch of fabulous lace. Its available at
www.forever21.com for $17.80

This too cute wallet is what inspired todays theme. I picked up this
adorable raccoon wallet at walmart on clearance for $3!

And the final night piece is my favorite eyeliner and brush
to create the perfect cat eye liner. The Maybelline eyestudio
gel liner ($6.99 at most drugstores) has the ability to be smudged for a smokey
look and once its dry it stays on forever. My other favorite is the Sonia Kashuk
bent eyeliner brush($5.99 at Target). Its perfect for creating thick
or thin lines :D

TIP Tuesday!

So i usually have lighter hair. But this past winter i decided to go dark. when i decided to go lighter again it was almost an impossible mission. you know what they say, once you go black you dont go back lol. So after bitchiness, stripes, and patches of color i finally got the black out of my hair! todays tip is y secret weapon... color oops! it is a non bleaching hair color remover. The pros are that it actually works, most drug stores carry it, you can dye your hair right after, and its super easy. The cons are the smell, the after effects to you hair, and once again the smell! So you basically you use it the way you do an at home hair dye. Leave it on for 20 minutes (i actually left it on for 30), and rinse rinse rinse! It says to rinse for 15 minutes to get rid of the shrunken hair molecules. so after that your done. I like to use a really good shampoo and deep conditioner because it smells really bad and it leaves you hair stiff and dry. If you have shorter hair one box should be enough and if you have longer hair i would get 2 boxes.

It comes in a regular & extra strength formula. I used the extra strength. I picked mine up at rite aid for $12.99

This is the before with all black hair

And this is the after. Looks a little red because of the lighting.
Overall i am super happy with this product and will definitely use it in the future ♥

Theme Thursdays: Breakfast at Tiffany's

Todays theme is the classic film ''breakfast at Tiffany's". it is my all time favorite movie with my favorite actress and fashion&life role model Audrey Hepburn. Besides her talent, style, and success Audrey was a great humanitarian. I one of my theories in life is that you either an Audrey (Hepburn) or a Marilyn (Monroe). And i for one think i am an Audrey. What do you think you are? ♥

So im obviously going to start with the movie itself. You can pick it up at Wal-Mart for only $9.96!

Now every girl should have an "LBD", little black dress. If you dont have one get one! The great thing about this shift style dress is its more versatile than the one in the movie while keeping the same effect. You can dress it up or down and get many different looks depending on the accessories. This one is by Calvin Klein and you can get it at Macy's for $99

One of the accessories Audrey rocks throughout the film are her wayfarer style sunglasses. They are great for women and men. They also just about every face shape. These are from forever21 and are only $5.80

This China Glaze shade is the color of a Tiffany's box. In other words... Tiffany Blue. Now in keeping theme with the movie this Tiffany blue polish is actually called "for Audrey". very cute! You can pick it up at ULTA or Sallys Beauty Supply
for  around $7.

One of the most memorable movie openings is the one from this movie. In the early morning while the city is still asleep, Audrey steps out of the cab with a coffee and donut. She then eats her breakfast in front of the Tiffany's window. Now you can do the same... maybe not at Tiffany's but wherever life may take you. This coffee cup is porcelain but has the look and portability of a paper cup. This one is $18.99 at Target but you can find ore affordable plastic versions just about everywhere for around $5.

You cant talk about Tiffany's without thinking about their fabulous jewelry. Although their jewelry is higher quality you dont have to break your piggy bank trying to pay for it. This necklace features their signature color and "please return to Tiffany's" phrase for only $100. So you can have a luxury item at a lower price. Its available at www.tiffany.com

I hope you all enjoyed this weeks Theme Thursday. And dont forget to like the "everyday glamourista" fan page on facebook ♥
