Review: Clean&Clear Foaming Cleanser

PRODUCT: Clean&Clear Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser

AVAILABILITY: Most drugstores, Wal-Mart,Target, and some Big Lot stores

PRICE: $4.99-$8.99 ($3.50 at Big Lots)

PROS: Removed all makeup, oil-free, smells like laundry soap, works fast, good price, and its easy to find.

CONS: None :D

RESULTS: I used about six pumps (which isn't a lot) and was able to remove a full face of makeup. Including the Maybelline 24 Hour shadow (glittery), lipstick, and a thick layer of waterproof mascara. It all came off without a lot of effort.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT BEST FOR?
I think this product would work great for everyone. But make sure not to use it on damaged skin such as... sunburned, open wound, or even skin with slight irritation.

WOULD I REPURCHASE THIS?
This is most likely going to replace my Clinique face wash. My Clinique face wash does an awesome job but it does leave me with mascara under my eyes unlike this one. Plus this is a quarter of the price!

Review: Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup

PRODUCT: Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup

PRICE: $10-$15

AVAILABILITY: Available at most drugstores, Wal-Mart, and Target

PROS: easy blending, hygienic pump dispenser, feels light, creamy consistency, quick application, and very natural finish

CONS: has a shimmer (not very noticeable), little shade choices, doesnt look good when applied with a brush, and the mousse goes flat once its touched

RESULTS: The first time i used it i applied it with a brush. I felt like it looked cakey and dry. The second time i applied it with my fingers and it looked alot better. The finish was very natural and it didnt feel heavy. And all you need is a quick pump.

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT BEST FOR?
This product is good for all skin types. Its also good if you are looking for a product that laves a slightly dewy not matte finish. If you liked the finish of the Maybelline Fit Me foundation but didnt like the non lasting power you will like this foundation.

WOULD I REPURCHASE THIS?
Its a yes. I like the finish. With a good concealer and finishing powder the coverage can last all day.

Quick Tip

2moro i will be posting a review... maybe 2. So i just wanted to post a quick tip that i took advantage of today. And basically its to check out your dollar stores for good drug store makeup. And nooo i don't mean L.A. Girl, Wet n Wild, or NYC brands (not that theres anything wrong with them). I mean stuff from Revlon, Almay, Physician Formula, Cover Girl. Today I picked up 4 of the Almay eyeshadow trios which coordinate with your eye color for $1! awesome buy if i do say so my self. So yea go check out your local dollar store... more specifically "dollar tree" and "99¢" stores. Plus while you are there you can pick up things that other stores shouldn't be charging over a dollar for like... cotton swabs/balls, storage containers, nail polish remover, nail files, eye lashes, candy, and you get the point lol.

Fashion's Frills: Short & Sweet

Todays post is focusing on an up and coming trend for this summer and fall. Its short suits! It allows us to make work more stylish (where appropriate). Its where conservative meets sexy. I guess you could call it the mullet of fashion lol. My best tip for this to work without it looking like a uniform is to add bold patterns or colors. It gives it a fun twist. Pair it with your favorite heels or flat oxfords and you can be confident that your walking out the door as a trend setting fashionista! Well here are a few things i paired up for todays quickie :-]

Review: Nuance Shampoo & Conditioner by Salma Hayek

Scroll Down For Review
(English)

(Espanol)

PRODUCT: Nuance "Quinoa Smooth & Shine"  shampoo and conditioner by Salma Hayek

PRICE: $7.99 each

AVAILABILITY: exclusively sold at CVS Pharmacy

PROS: best scent ever, restores shine to dull hair, leaves hair clean, nice sleek packaging, long lasting scent

CONS: doesn't reduce major frizz, CVS is not in all areas, need a large amount for suds

RESULTS: after about a month of use my hair was shinier but definitely not smoother

Who Is This Product Best For?
I feel this product is probably best for people who have naturally straight to slightly wavy hair. In straighter hair it will reduce some frizz but it will also add major shine. A formula for curly hair is also available as well as one for colored hair but this one is the best smelling!

Would I Repurchase This?
This is a definite YES! I love the scent too much to not use this but that is the only reason. I am still currently using it but have added a deep conditioner to my routine.
